Three minutes inside Immersion 2026

School leaders doing projects, debating, visiting a PBL school and planning the shift together.

The shift

Children don't learn by repeating.
They learn by doing.

The move from rote to projects changes what happens in every classroom. It starts with the school leader.

What Immersion is

Not a seat in an audience.
A place on a project team.

The whole event runs as a project-based learning experience, with you inside it.

FIRST

Experience it

Do a real project with fellow leaders and feel what your students would feel.

THEN

Design it

Learn the design principles, see PBL in a real school, and design a project for yours.

FINALLY

Lead it

Build your school's action plan, test it with peers, and go back ready to start.

School owners

Who want change built on evidence.

Principals

Who will lead the shift themselves.

Academic heads

Who turn vision into timetables and units.

Instructional leaders

Who coach teachers every day.

The three days

Understand the shift. Design it. Lead it.

The days follow the experiential learning cycle, the same one your students will travel.

Day 1 · 22 Jan

Understanding the Shift

Experiencing the power of PBL

  • Opening keynote: moving from rote-based to project-based learning

You leave already in motion.

What leaders lived through

Immersion 2025 Delhi NCR & Bengaluru

Two cohorts, one big question about waste

  • Leaders did a full mini-project, Waste Not: a wonder walk around the hotel, one waste problem per team, solutions presented as posters.
  • School visits showed PBL running in real classrooms.
  • Every leader left with a PBL action plan, sharpened through a charrette protocol.

Making time, place and story work for PBL

  • Leaders reworked a school timetable to protect time for teachers to plan projects together.
  • A visit to Gateway International School: the Gopal Shala, the garden, handmade incense sticks.
  • Micki Evans led a session on storytelling as a leadership tool.
"A story cannot be built through AI. It has to be real. You can tell a story only when you experience it."Vishnu Kant, Immersion 2026

In their own words

This conference has given insight into how to design project-based learning, how to make it effective in the classroom, and how we can make students more engaged.
Navin MarasiniSchool leader · Nepal
PBL has helped our kids, and us, in raising smart and confident children at our school. I highly recommend all schools to come to this Immersion.
PallaviHeadmistress · City Montessori School, Lucknow
I saw people coming with a lot of questions and struggles, and saw how beautifully Immersion was planned. Everyone has taken something they are going to implement or change.
AnjaliCoordinator · HRM Global School
It was overwhelming to see students actually being changed. I saw them being confident, taking new initiatives and exploring their curiosity.
Saiyam NagpalPatiala
We worked on our timetable too. Now there is time, and space, for implementing project-based learning in our school.
Dr FaisalPrincipal · Sunrise School
I am going to bring project-based learning to our school in a very beautiful way. I go back with a new vision and a new mission.
